Pres-Tek Plastics, Inc. is a world-class medical molding and technology center located in Southern California. Our impressive facilities include multiple Class 8 cleanrooms and Metrology Labs, as well as validated processing, automation, and validation equipment. In conjunction with sister company, Prestige Mold Inc., Pres-Tek can offer art-to-part solutions for turnkey production systems.

History

Pres-Tek Plastics, Inc. specializes in custom, precision injection molding of highly critical components and sub-assemblies from thermoplastic materials for the medical, industrial and consumer industries. Pres-Tek provides innovative solutions in order to meet and exceed all of our customers’ requirements and expectations.

Pres-Tek Plastics, Inc. was founded in 2005 as a sister company to Prestige Mold Inc., located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Pres-Tek began as an in-house service to be utilized as a technical center for plastic injection mold trials, first article inspections, and short production runs.

In 2011, due to increased customer demand, Pres-Tek acquired its first 17,000 ft² building adjacent to Prestige Mold Inc. Within this facility, Pres-Tek developed a world class molding technology center, complete with a Class 8 cleanroom, a controlled environment white room, and a full metrology lab. The Class 8 cleanroom specializes in high volume, high production medical molding. The controlled environment white room provides mold qualifications and validations in addition to developmental applications for turnkey projects.

In 2021, Pres-Tek expanded by purchasing an additional 53,000 ft² facility in order to increase capacity for new and ongoing projects. The new facility includes over 14,000 ft² of Class 8 Cleanroom molding space, a Class 8 Cleanroom Metrology Lab, as well as additional warehouse space. Pres-Tek has invested in state-of-the-art technology and equipment to maximize quality while minimizing costs, and will continue its work with our partners, both customers and suppliers, in providing next generation technologies.
